About Goshen Resort & Hotel

A Place of Favor

A circular, multi-story building lit at night, with illuminated arches on each level, surrounded by greenery and palm trees, and a pathway leading to the entrance.

Goshen, meaning “a place of favor,” traces its origin to Biblical history, a land where God showed His protection and provision to the nation of Israel during times of turmoil and pestilence. While Egypt faced crisis, Goshen became a sanctuary where God’s people experienced peace, security, and abundance.

Inspired by this powerful meaning, Goshen Resort & Hotel was created as a place of refuge, a sanctuary where guests can rest, reconnect, and experience peace away from the pressures of everyday life.

The Meaning Behind Goshen

Nighttime scene of a European-style square with illuminated buildings, street lamps, a clock tower, and lush greenery.

Goshen began as Goshen Homecare and Campsite, quietly welcoming guests seeking rest, privacy, and simplicity. For years, it remained a peaceful place known only to a few. In April 2017, during Holy Week, a guest requested accommodation when nearby resorts were fully booked. A friend was allowed to take photos and share them on social media, and on April 10, 2017, the post went viral. Shared by the travel blogger We Wander PH, the photos drew overwhelming interest, with inquiries pouring in from towns, cities, and provinces, marking the start of Goshen’s unexpected transformation.

Our Humble Beginning

This unanticipated moment became a defining turning point in Goshen’s journey. No longer just a homecare, Goshen embraced a greater responsibility, evolving into a Resort and Hotel dedicated to serving more guests while remaining true to its values of peace, faith, and hospitality. With this transition came a renewed commitment to provide meaningful experiences, a safe environment, and exceptional service to every guest.
